Sunday Afternoons
In addition to the sailing activities, Sunday afternoons at our club are a fun and relaxing time for all the family. The terrace is a lovely sheltered place to enjoy some time in a deckchair with a drink from our bar. We have a well equipped kitchen where members can prepare meals or snacks and a gas BBQ which members enjoy using on Summer evenings.
Social Events
Social events are held regularly at the clubhouse and other venues for club members and their guests. Commodore's Day is an annual celebration at the club hosted by the Commodore and their family with a race for the Commodore's Cup followed by a tea and is a particularly good time for the whole club family to get together. The Summer Ball is a black tie event with good food and dancing until the early hours. Other events throughout the season inlcude Lobster Supper, Bonfire Night, Golf Competition and Fish and Chip Supper. The season is rounded off with a Laying Up Lunch followed by speeches and trophy giving. Please see the sailing programme and newsletters for further details or speak to a member of the committee.
